Your study of English begins with a look at pronouns - those little words like "we", "she" and "I" that take the place of nouns and keep your sentences nice and neat. Then we're going to teach you how to use adjectives. These words help you describe things and make your sentences more interesting. But what if you want to tell someone that you like your hot dog? Or that you are in your office? Don’t worry, we'll also cover possessives.

We’re going to look at prepositions, words that describe the relationship between a noun and some other word. We’ll also get the low-down on the question words “who?”, “what?” and “where?” But it’s not enough to ask questions if people don’t know what you’re talking about! So we’ll also cover pointer words like “this”, “that” and “there.” Finally, you’ll learn about days of the week, the months, the seasons, and how to tell time.
ESL Program 3: Possessives, Verb and Infinitive and The Past

Possessives give you the ability to say what belongs to you and what does not. But possessives in English can be a little bit tricky. When do you use “my” and when do use mine?” Or “her” and “hers?” We’ll also show you how to stretch your conversations by using the present simple tense with an infinitive. Finally, we’ll tackle the past tense with a look at the basics: was and were. You’ll use them time and time again, from “how was your day?” to “where were you?”
ESL 4 DVD: Regular and Irregular Past and Adverbs
ESL Program 4: Regular and Irregular Past and Adverbs

Sale Price: $14.99

We’ll begin by explaining “regular” verbs. These are the verbs you love in the past tense. They are solid, predictable, reliable, and regular – all you have to do is add an “–ed.” Then we’ll move on to “irregular” verbs. These tricky verbs are unpredictable, unreliable, and don’t follow a regular pattern. But if you really want to feel the vibe of your verbs, you need to “add” something: adverbs! These handy words describe how do you do the things you do.
