Online: Ordering online is fast, convenient, and safe—our site employs the latest encryption technology (Secure Socket Layer) to ensure that your personal information is kept secure. Payment can be made online using any of the major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover).

Purchase Order: We gladly accept purchase orders from educational institutions, however, this web site currently cannot process these orders. If you'd like to pay by Purchase Order, please fax your order to 805-426-8136 (PO Orders only) or contact customer service. Please make sure to include all necessary billing and contact information.

Upon completion of the order checkout process, an Order Confirmation message will be sent to you via email. A separate Shipping Notification message will be sent to you when your order ships. The Shipping Notification e-mail includes a link you can use to track your order.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Our web site can process orders for shipment to most addresses in the 50 United States and to most Canadian addresses. Due to the expense of international shipping, we like to confirm overseas orders. To expedite this process, we ask that international customers please confirm their orders by sending an email to customerservice@goldhil.com. Please include your name, address, phone number and order confirmation number. This will help us get your packages to you a lot quicker.

Available shipping carriers include UPS. Direct links to the official UPS online databases allow our shopping cart software to calculate and display the actual rates for each of the applicable shipping methods during the checkout process . Shipping rates for each of the available methods may be previewed prior to submitting your order.

Overnight and 2nd Day orders received by 10 AM PacificTime will be shipped the same day. All other orders will be shipped within three to five (3-5) business days.

Transit Times: Actual delivery times vary depending on which shipping method you select. The following are estimates from the UPS web site for delivery to addresses within the lower 48 (HI, AK, and Canada will take longer):

UPS Ground: 5-7 business days
UPS 3-Day Select: 3 business days (48 contiguous states only)
UPS 2nd-Day Air: by end of second business day
UPS Next Day Air Saver: by end of next business day (48 contiguous states only)

Although we endeavor to maintain every item in stock at all times, some products will occasionally be out of stock at the time you place your order. The stock status of each item is updated hourly, and is clearly spelled out in red or green text on the item detail page. If you do decide to initiate a backorder by placing an item marked Out of Stock in your cart, please understand that, due to credit card security regulations, we must charge your card upfront for all items ordered. Items that are Out of Stock will be backordered and shipped separately from In Stock items (with no additional shipping charges) as soon as they become available using the same shipping method.

CURRENCY

All orders placed on the Standard Deviants web site must be paid in U.S. currency

If you have a coupon or special offer code, be sure to enter the code number in the appropriate box during the checkout process to receive your special offer or discount.

SPECIAL OFFERS

We offer discounts, such as free shipping, on the home page of our website. However, we periodically send out special, unadvertised offers via email. To receive these offers, all you have to do is register by entering your email address in the box on our site's left-hand navigation bar.

Standard Deviants charges sales tax on all orders shipped to California and Utah. Tax rates are based on your Ship-To Zip Code. Sales tax is also charged on shipping and handling in states where this is required by law.

We want to be sure you are completely satisfied with any purchase you make with us. If, for any reason, you chose to return a product to us, we will exchange it or credit your account WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE ORDER SHIP DATE. Damaged or defective products will be exchanged for a like title within 30 days of the order ship date. Email customerservice@goldhil.com to receive a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. Please note that we only accept returns of products purchased directly from Standarddeviants.com—we do not accept returns of items purchased from other sources.

Our site uses the Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") protocol to maintain a very high level of security. We guarantee that your credit card information will be safe when you place an order at Standard Deviants. If you are ever a victim of credit card fraud, the Fair Credit Act specifies that your credit card company can hold you liable for no more than fifty dollars ($50.00) in fraudulent charges to your account. (Most most major card issuers now have a $0 liability policy.) At Standard Deviants, you will be reimbursed for any amount up to fifty dollars ($50.00) billed to you by your credit card company for unauthorized charges to your account, if those charges result from an order you have placed on our secure server. To qualify for this protection, you must promptly notify your credit card company of any fraudulent charges and follow the procedure for doing so as outlined in your credit card agreement.
